[00:47:19] Now, we’ve then after we’ve made sure the CF is at 12 using the House and Garden Grow A and using the House and Garden Grow B in equal amounts as well as the desired millilitres of Roots Excelurator by House and Garden we’ve then taken a pH reading. Now the pH in a hard water area is typically always high even though these particular nutrients do buffer it down gently and slightly, we then had to administer pH down (phosphoric acid) by Esoteric Hydroponics. Now, obviously we administrated this using our gloves and our goggles and our pipettes, and what we then did, because this is very aggressive, so it’s highly advisable if you’re going to handle this stuff to use gloves, to use goggles, to use the right apparatus. You get this on the skin, you’ve got to wash it off immediately, you get it in your eyes, splash some water in your eyes and then get down the hospital as soon as you can. It’s highly aggressive. On that subject, its opposite, pH up, if you mix those 2 buggers together, up and down, you basically create a bomb of some description, it will explode and it will do a lot a damage to everything it explodes onto. So do not mix pH up and down together; if you’re using pipettes make

sure you colour code the pipettes to go with each bottle, and colour code the one with the pH down, colour the one with the pH up and then you’ll never get any problems. What we’ve done using goggles and gloves and the right apparatus is then administrated enough pH down into the system to bring the pH in this case, because we’re using pebbles we’ve knocked it all the way down to 6. Now, if you’re growing in nothing but a rockwool substrate, you want to make the pH at 5.5, if you’re using pebbles you make it at 6, then what we encourage you to do is allow the pH to swing by 5 points in a pebble orientated system, so knock it to 6 as the plants grow and the water gets used up, the pH will then naturally rise in a hard water area, let it rise all the way up to 6.5 and then knock it back in one fell swoop down to 6 and then let the process happen again. Do NOT anally maintain it perpetually at 6. It’s critical to let the pH fluctuate because different nutrients become available at different concentrations at different pH levels. Put that back into English. The
