Grow Room - The Grow PhaseWe are now 6 days in from our last visit, and they have all taken albeit slightly slowly, but they’ve all taken to the system. Now, I better explain last week we had an average temperature for 4 of the 7 days of plus 30°, so being on top of a roof you can imagine that it was quite hard to keep the temperatures down, but we did so by fluctuating the light. We didn’t have it perpetually on, we had it staggered as it were, so every time there was a heat build-up we then had the lights switching off for a period of time to allow that heat to then dissipate. Very hard to do it, we’ve never done a glasshouse on top of a roof in the middle of London before so as you can imagine, we’re dealing with variables that we’re not used to and the sun baking down on a roof in a glasshouse obviously requires a bit more extraction than we anticipated, but saying that, the hot weather is now coming to a lull and we should be entering the autumn months rather rapidly, although it’s a very muggy, sweaty day today.
